HISTORY

Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club…

It’s more than a game…

It’s a tradition!

A little background…
The Richmond Hill Golf Club Ltd., incorporated in March 1929, operated in its old location on Richmond Hill, just west of Grande Prairie until 1965, when it relocated to the present site, just four minutes from city center.  The Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club is a championship course that has a traditional classic design and operates to achieve the finest golf experience in the Peace Country.  Each hole has unique characteristics to offer golfers, at every level, a challenge.  Four tee settings stretch the course from 5,257 yards to 7,007 yards.  Its manicured fairways, mature trees, and pristine greens provide players with a fantastic setting for a match play or purely recreational round of golf.

The Grande Prairie Golf Club is a public facility with few restrictions on public play.  A full length driving range, a chipping green with sand bunkers, and two putting greens enable players to prepare for a round or just work on all aspects of their game.

Membership privileges include discounts for guests, preferred tee times, range privileges and access to the practice facilities at no cost.  Members have the opportunity to participate in the Members Classic each year, which crowns the Men’s, Ladies, Senior Men’s, Senior Ladies, Junior Men’s and Junior Ladies Club Champions, yet is designed to be enjoyed by members of all skill levels.

We have a Membership Advantage Program with Kamloops Rivershore Estates and Golf Links for only $35 for 18 holes! Our members also get preferred rates at the Dunes Golf & Winter Club, Mighty Peace Golf Club, Lakepoint Golf & Country Club and Whitecourt Golf Club.
