The Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club has been at its current location since 1968. The course has become a favourite for many and has been enjoyed by golfers from all over Alberta and British Columbia for over 50 years. The Country Club offers golfers at every level of challenge a wide variety of play with great characteristics around every corner. Over the last 15 years, we have had significant water shortages resulting in a challenging environment to create great course conditions. We’ve struggled with an aging irrigation system and inadequate drainage. In 2015, a fundraising committee was established and a new irrigation design has been created. All proceeds from the GPGCC Fall and Spring fundraisers, as well as the proceeds from other fundraising initiatives are put in the Water Management fund. The approximate cost of a new system has been estimated at $1,500,000. The thermometer here shows our progress for funds raised towards the new system. Donations of any increments towards this project are welcome. Help us continue to raise the standard for our golf course!
